Now, hold on a second, what does this have to do with PRP?

We start by taking a small sample of your blood – it’s still red at this point. The blood then undergoes centrifugation twice – once to separate the red blood cells (which aren’t needed) and again to concentrate the platelets and plasma (that golden stuff).
These platelets are the real MVP here – they’re filled with human growth factors and other proteins that help stimulate the healing process and increase production of two major cell types:
